
Section Manager – Corporate Strategy

Section Manager - Strategy owns strategic plans and ensures compliance with these strategies. This position is to review, manage, and analyze existing business strategies to provide counsel to the business's leadership and ensure alignment with the business's overall strategy.

Support the annual strategic planning process by defining strategic priorities / business plans.
Conduct market analysis : identify emerging industry trends, growth opportunities and competitive dynamics.
Conduct face-to-face “Voice of Customer” interviews (e.g. in Thailand).
Integrate both strategic and financial analysis into presentations to guide decision making.
Participate in discussions with executive and business unit management teams to define strategic plans.
Work on industry analysis and strategy formulation while being exposed to key leaders within the organization.
Apply a mix of quantitative, qualitative, consultative, and facilitative / leadership skills to develop industry insights and define strategic priorities for a selected business unit.
Acquire essential business and management skills necessary to further his or her growth in the Asia region.

Degree qualified. Those currently enrolled in an MBA program or MBA qualified will be considered favorably.
At least 2 years Management Consulting /Corporate strategy.
Engineering /Business / financial skills.
Superior research skills and analytic ability.
Prior MNC work experience will be a plus.
Good Microsoft office skills.
Ability to use Web-based survey tools.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Meticulous and results oriented.
Good command of English & Thai.
