Highlight

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the Butchery Department to achieve sales and profit targets while maintaining high standards of product display and stock control.

  • Supervise and coordinate with receiving staff to ensure all meat products are delivered on time, meet quality and temperature standards, and comply with hygiene and packaging requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Fresh Food Manager to plan product layouts and in-store space utilization according to seasonal demands.

  • Monitor and control product shrinkage by coaching staff on proper product handling, and implement strategies such as product modification or markdowns to optimize stock efficiency.

  • Continuously develop and improve display standards, stock management, and team performance to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in retail, wholesale, or store management.

  • Strong analytical skills in product and sales performance to develop effective purchasing and sales promotion strategies.

  • Proven leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or Fresh Food management will be an advantage.

  • Able to work on shift schedules, 6 days per week, with non-fixed weekends off.
