Responsibilities

  • Manage the merchandising process during new store openings for an assigned department.

  • Manage the interior sign process during new store openings and ensure compliance with corporate direction.

  • Manage special projects such as merchandise remodels, department resets, and fixture remodels.

  • Manage temporary workers during the new store merchandising process.

  • Train the store staff on current stocking and merchandising standards and best practices.

  • Assist in developing merchandise department flow plans for all new stores.

  • Identify and implement new and innovative methodologies to improve current processes and practices.

  • Develop strong working relationships with corporate partners, field teams and temporary workers.

  • Communicate any issues, delays, or concerns and ensure productive execution of all merchandising projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architect or related field 

  • Experience with planograms, floor plans and CAD drawings

  • Solid understanding of in-store merchandising and marketing strategies

  • Ability to manage projects, budgets, and teams

  • Organization and planning skills

  • Team-building skills

  • Communication skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information

  • Ability to travel and work flexibly
